Why Volunteer for Monona Parks & Recreation's Lil' Badger Consignment Sale?

Lil' Badger Consignment Sale, LLC is looking for volunteers and depends on its volunteers to make our community sale a success. Please join our energetic team of volunteers!
As a consignor and a volunteer, you can earn an additional 10% (for a total of 70%) on your consignor sales.
Shop the PreSale(s) prior to the general public.
Shop our $1 Donation Sale on Sunday (Spring & Fall sales only).
Remember, a portion of the proceeds goes to Monona Parks & Recreation, the Monona Senior Center, and Monona Parks & Recreation's Youth Scholarship Fund.

Volunteer Details:

All volunteer shifts are 4 hours apiece.
You must work a full 4 hours to earn the additional 10% (for a total of 70%) on your consignor sales. No exceptions!
You must register for your volunteer shift before the volunteer deadline.
You may not show up and volunteer without registering for a volunteer shift though our online system.
You must sign the Volunteer Worker Agreement when you register for your shift.
You must sign-in and sign-out before and after your volunteer shift so we can keep track of volunteer hours.
When you arrive for your volunteer shift, please park a few rows away from the community center. Allow shoppers to park closest to the building.
We invite you to work one, two, or more shifts over the course of the sale. The more help we have, the more successful our local consignment sale will be.

For safety, please do not bring your lil' badgers to your volunteer shift. (No children please.) We encourage you to find a friend or a family member to babysit your child while you volunteer. (Enjoy the short break.) We do have a lot of work to do, and you will not be able to attend to your child and volunteer at the same time.
All registered volunteers will be on a list to shop the PreSale(s) prior to the general public.
Unsold consignor items that have been marked "Donate" will be on sale from 5:00-6:00 pm on Sunday for volunteers only (for our Spring & Fall sales only). Remaining donated items will all be priced at $1. All proceeds of the $1 Sale go to Monona Parks & Recreation's Youth Scholarship Fund. After the $1 Donation Sale, remaining items will be donated to our local charity.
